What is Reiki for animals?

All animals have physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects, to which Reiki can bring profound healing.

Reiki is the Japanese practice that offers the benefits of relaxation, stress relief, positive energy and mood, and improved health and well-being. Animals can receive Reiki treatments for physical and emotional pain, anxiety and fear, physical healing, and improved energy.

Reiki can benefit all species of animals and pets, wild or tame, in any location.

During a typical Reiki treatment, the animal may move about freely. They can be next to the practitioner, in close range, at a farther distance, or even remote. My work includes locating areas where pain or energy blockages exist. Energy flow is directed to physical areas of importance for healing when pain or stress is present. Animals will respond to the positive energy vibrations that create comfort, calmness and healing.

Please note - animal communication and Reiki are not replacements for veterinary care. If you suspect your pet may be ill, injured, or in physical pain, please consult your veterinarian.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A SESSION

Sessions are typically 30 - 60 minutes long. During that time, I will get to know you and your animal(s), and receive a response to the question that led you to seek my help. In addition, we will ask your animal(s) to delve deeper to a soul level to share additional information that only they know. They will guide us to a more complete understanding of your relationship, and how you and your animal can work together to create your best lives.

READY, SET, GO!

  • Determine how many animals (and people) will be part of the reading, or if you will need several separate readings

  • Prepare one question to ask your animal(s) during the reading (in order to get the most out of each reading, typically only one question can be asked, but depending on how the reading goes, it may be possible to ask another one)

  • Consider whether you want an in-person or remote reading (your animal does not have to be with you during the reading)

GET READY

  • Once you’ve completed the steps above, please contact Tina to schedule your session(s) and have a brief intake discussion

  • Please plan to be in a quiet place for your reading where you will not be interrupted Review the pricing and cancellation policy page on this site

  • If you want to record the reading, please be ready to do so before the session begins (I may, but cannot always record the sessions or take notes)

GET SET

  • Please provide payment prior to the session using Venmo or Paypal mobile at 978-314-2188

  • For remote readings, I will contact you a few minutes before the start of the session (please be ready to start at the agreed time)

  • For on-site readings, please plan for me to arrive at least 10 minutes before the agreed time so we can get situated, acclimated, and comfortable

Let’s Do This!

Have an open mind and an open heart - this is the best way to get the most from your reading. If you have more than one person attending, please make sure that they are an ‘open’ participator, as in ready to receive information from the animal without blocks, for the reader, the animal, and the other participants’ sakes

Enjoy!
